Here's the scenario:
Your SO has just announced that for Valentine's Day (okay, so it's the next smoochie holiday coming up) they would like to get a room here: The Anniversary Inn
The only catch is that you have to choose the room.

(This one is indeed hypothetical because we've already chosen our room)

If you have the time and opportunity, browse through the pictures of the various suites. Consider the opportunities for new and amazing sex in the suites.

Assume money is no object (As in you'd have a coupon for any room $139 on weeknights)
Which room would you want? Hate?
What sort of things can you visualize being done in any given room?
How creative can you get?

A challenge for all the how-to residents.

Having visited the Anniversary Inn several times I'd have to put my vote for The Presidential or The Romeo and Juliet.

The presidential has a very old time feel about it and has a very nice jacuzzi tub.

Haven't had the opportunity to stay in the Romeo and Juliet yet but have been in it, it is the next room on the list.

One of the rooms has a very neat lighting affect that looks like twinkling stars, only problem was I couldn't help but think how easy it would be to hide a camera up there!

I've only looked at a few, but I really like the Caribbean Sea Cave one at the Logan location. I really like the paint job done on the floors and ceilings, making it look like water, and the ocean creatures are great. I'm loving that boat bed!

I'm too kid centric

I've been procrastinating on some work tonight, thanks for the excuse to procrastinate some more ;-) I know that we're supposed to be creative, but I failed miserably.

Looking at the theme rooms all I could think about was how much fun my kids would have staying in a room like that. Since we're talking wild sex, I'll have to take a pass on those (but they look fun).

I failed in the wild sex part too. I found a room in the Salt City Jail called the Rose Garden that I really liked. Since I can't be creative, at least I'll tell you why I really like it. My uncle has a greenhouse addition onto his house. A couple of years in a row my cousins had spring weddings. The kids get the spare bed and my wife and I sleep in the greenhouse. It has a glass roof and sides facing the forest, a huge wine cask converted into a hot tub, and a hide-a-bed couch along with the spring plants and 'country' furniture. The pictures of that room take me back to evenings soaking in the hot tub followed by passionate sex while the spring rain softly spattered patterns on the glass roof. Once I was in that space, the other rooms couldn't hold a candle.

Well, I'll give you a full report on the enchanted forest tomorrow -- that's actually what *I* picked for tonight.

I'll admit that I haven't looked a whole lot at the ones other than Boise, since that's what we're closest too.

These rooms are amazing. Seriously.

When we went to the Mysteries of Egypt room in Boise last year, we probably spent a good fifteen minutes just wandering around looking at all the details. The lights are (of course) on separate dimmers for each room. The Egyptian statues -- oh wow. They were made out of some sort of plaster-like material, I think. But they were so well done, with such a nod to realism, that I could see myself inside Egypt (or at least a good museum) with very little imagination. Whoever they've gotten to paint their walls is well versed in perspective and making it look like you are indeed looking off a balcony of an Egyptian palace. The nightstands (if you can call them that) are two smaller statues that I believe look like rams. There was JUST ENOUGH flat space there to put my glasses. So in that they've encouraged lack of alarm clocks and pushed the escape mentality.
We watched The Mummy that night. It was almost a moral imperative. They've got great room service, a small refrigerator in each room (good thing, cause I had to pump in the middle of the night or withstand horrid breast pain) and the COOLEST jetted garden tubs I've ever been in. We almost fell asleep in it, though. Some rooms have a waterfall shower. The Egypt one, however, had a regular showerhead (almost public pool style without a stall or anything) but that showerhead was covered in the same plaster statue stuff and looked like a snake. Oh Geez... the details were amazing.

So tonight, it's the Enchanted Forest room for our anniversary.
And I'll have a full report soon.

One thing I really noticed when I was looking (with sheath's help) for my choice of rooms...
In one of the Boise rooms (it was one of the water-themed ones) there is a mast with a ship's wheel (forgive me for the lack of nautical terminology) that I can just SEE me getting tied to.

I am hoping to be tied to a tree tonight.

Oh WOW!!That is all I can say..Those are some of the coolest rooms that I have ever seen..I would not even know which one to choose from first..I wish that I was not so far away from Boise..That could be a lot of fun. Yes she did get tied to a tree, hehe... She's taking a nap right now recovering from last night. I get to pick the next room... and I'm thinkin it'll be either Swiss Family Robinson (Gotta love sleeping in a tree house) or the Sports Central.

Fun, fun, FUN!!!

I have to say that I liked most of the rooms - hard to pick a favorite. It would depend on my mood, but I have a "thing" for big four poster beds. Jus' brings chills, ya know?

I think my S/O would really, really like the one (I think it was Jesse James themed??) with the pool table. *sigh* Yes, he's a pool junkie and I can just see him trying to get me to "bet" on games. (Means I'm a lousy a pool player!)

The one I liked least was the Lost in Space one. 'Course, I'm not much of a sci fi fan, so...

Glad to hear you had a great time! Seems it would be difficult not to!

I like the Enchanted Forest. Smaller room than Mysteries of Egypt (no big surprise there), but still very very interesting. I liked the trees. They were real. No longer alive, and fake leaves, but still real trees. Even the bed was made of them.
There are plenty of places all over that bed for optimal tying. YESSSSS. The foot of the bed, although it didn't get used for that purpose, has a spot at just the right height (kneeling on bed or standing behind it) for getting 'strung up' with each wrist against one post. The leaf canopy extends over the bed so when you're lying on your back, you feel almost outside.
Three light switches -- almost didn't like the way they did it, could have been arranged better. Only one light, the one directly over the bed on the wall, was dimmable. The other two were on/off and I would have liked them dimmable considering their angle and wattage.
Oh, the BATH!!! Once we filled, emptied, cleaned out the glass I broke getting in, and refilled the bathtub (oops) we sat in there for a good while. You know, everytime I look at the pictures of the tubs, I think they're smaller than they really are. He and I both fit comfortably in the tub (which is nicely jetted, by the way) and could get neck-high in water. The waterfall shower, although it didn't get used much, is really cool. Drips afterwards though for a little while, so don't test it out while you're filling the tub unless you feel like getting dripped on for the first few minutes of your bath.

I'm looking forward to next year. Or sooner.

Per night. Yep. And it's worth it.
The memories made there are totally worth it.
This is also why I mentioned that you had a coupon for $139 a night any room. Out here, military members have that option. And since some of these responses will be used as research for the next visit, I wanted to remove the monetary worry.

It sounds like you had a fantastic time. I hope someday to stay a night there. I did ask my husband but we have no family anywhere close to take our kids so we can enjoy a night away..ShUCKS..Maybe I will win the lottery and I could hire a nanny to take the kids and than we could get away..Oh yeah you have to play the lottery to win it..LOL!!!Anyways, It sounded like a fantastic evening and that's really all I wanted to tell you..
