Which reminds me of how I became interested in becoming an entomologist/arachnologist. When I was only a little older than 3, my brother and I were playing outside of my house after a rain storm. There were still puddles all around, and I decided to sit and play in one that was especially muddy. Just as to be expected, there were a bunch of worms roaming around since they couldn't go back into the soil yet, and my brother tricked me by saying some of the ones covered in mud were "chocolate spaghetti." Needless to say I was excited, and tried one. Only after I finished one with some difficulty due to it's squiggling did I realize that the worms were not in fact chocolate spaghetti. Once I figured it out I spent the rest of the time playing with the worms fascinated by them, and have been interested in all things creepy crawly ever since.that donut appears to be covered in teeny tiny worms!![]()
