Hey cf!

Thanx fer the feedback!

Wow, those pictures are absolutely stunning.

I think my favourite is the first one, with the Lion. Is that Aslan?

Wonderful. :)

Lovely, Kcar. The piece with the flying fairy is amazing. Such a graceful, confident figure...

Thanks - I'm honored dude. ^_^

Aslan? o_O It was commissioned as the Lion With The Lamb (bible stuff I think). I wasn't intersted in that so much as drawing those two animals. I used one of my cats to partially build the structure of the lion's face, as well as to model the sweet expression from.

Thanx Phalo. :rose:

She was one of my first tries at color. Watercolor and colored pencil work well for me. I can't paint worth a damn, but colored pencils help a great deal. That's only with fantasy colors like these however. I can't paint realistically at all. o_O

Hope I haven't already posted these.

This one was done for my son when he was 4 yrs old. He was afraid of the toilet, cause it was running at the time. He thought it was gonna rip itself outta the floor and come eat him. o_O I told him that the toilet's evil was now trapped on the paper, and that it would never bother him again. He was able to sleep after that. *giggle*

That's wonderful too. I just asked about the lion painting because of Aslan the Lion in the Lion, Witch and the Wardrobe.

Nice!

You're the best mom ever :D

Your work is fantastic, but the photography is lousy.

Get good jpgs of your work and send them out.
Ignore the frames and the mats, Just get the images out and send them out.

No, having the publisher steal your original is not normal.

I can understand how that would discourage you from dealing with these people again.

Take the pictures once they have been pulled out of the frames.
Get good reproductions. You can get excellent laser prints of these.

If someone wants to publish you, that is what you'll need to have.

Treat your work with respect and other people will too.
