Ring neck?

Skinned (to save plucking), cooked breast down in the pan so the meat doesn't dry out. One bird per person. Hens taste better than cocks.

I ate a Lady Amherst once, more than 60 years ago.

But, no crispy skin?

I usta' get Cornish Hens in two packs for $3 or so. Put both in a crockpot and let'em simmer down for a while.

Now they're like $5/each.

Ain't doin' that.

smoked turkey. although i also love chicken. either over ham any day.

Dang it. I meant to click gobble.

For everyday, I love chicken. It’s the best. But turkey a few times a year is also amazing.
I just like food.

Million dollar idea: Buffalo Turkey Wings. Franchises coast to coast. :)

Well, they're still just chicken wings. Not buffalo wings, assuming buffalo would even have wings, which they don't. And, even allowing for that, buffalo wings -- hot-spiced chicken wings -- are still very not very good to eat. They're fucking disgusting. Who ever thought this was a good idea?!

I enjoy cooking a turkey, and it’s definitely turkey for sandwiches. For most everything else, I prefer chicken.

Gotta be turkey or goose for Christmas. This year I think I'll just get a turkey crown, now my old man's gone there's no-one in the family that really prefers dark meat.
