Chick-fil-A can't get employees OR applicants to show up.

Turns out that if you pay people hundreds of dollars a week not to work, they won't.

Turns out if you pay shit wages with no benefits and are bigotted assholes people won't work for you. 🤷🏾

But the two stores are in Alabama...aren't they all low-wage, bigoted assholes there? Seems like CFA is right up their alley, no?

They've got plenty of workers at the stores near me.

The lockdowns revealed which employers cared about their employees, and which didn’t. Some businesses won’t find anyone willing to work for them again.

Chick Fil A in my area are mobbed and well staffed, many are expanding their drive thru capacity. Best run fast food venues by far.

There is no "hiring crisis". Chic-fil-a simply refuses to adjust their wage scale to the local prevailing wage. They are experiencing a shortage of workers who are willing to work at the wage scale set by the company. They could easily rectify this situation by raising wages. It's Economics 101.

See, your own bigotry is wrapping around itself, wheels within wheels...

You're the one who said it, genius.

You Deplorables can't do ascription right to save your lives, even though you put all your effort into it. Take some writing classes. 🤣

Why should they have to compete against people who take our money by force and pay the workforce not to work?

Looks like Little Rory has a new word, too, and wants to show it off to all the grown-ups!

Now, Little Rory, Bud was just using irony and sarcasm with all the sneering port-side here. Mmmhmm....you understand now, Little Rory? Adults do that sometimes to make a point. Bud was just reminding those hate-soaked leftists to keep their bigotries in order.

Little Rory...Little Rory...Bud...Mmmhmm...Little Rory...Bud...

Nice self-in-the-third-person-level triggering! You didn't like that truth nugget at all. :D

More free lessons available; just ask.

The only nuggets you can offer are in the back of your Granimals.

The waffle fries don't "do it" for Pud, but the bigotry and exploitation of workers sure does.

Turns out that if you pay people hundreds of dollars a week not to work, they won't.

Nope, that dog don't hunt.

The locations are in Alabama.
The Republican governor of Alabama turned down the extended COVID federal benefits back in May 2021.....it's now late August 2021.
Unemployed families no longer have any disincentive to not work.

What's happening is a number of people are dropping out of the work force....particularly at the lower end of the wage scale. Two-income families are figuring out with the cost of gas and day care, it's not worth it to work for minimum wage. Lots more stay-at-home moms and a few stay-at-home dads (like BoBo).

Fewer people working makes them a scarcer resource for companies. Chic fil a has a starting hourly wage of $8 per hour, McDonalds offers $9 per hour to start. If you were able to work, which job would you choose?

This is entirely Chic fil a's issue for not recognizing the new realities of the current wage market. The federal government sets the "floor" only. If Chic fil a wants to attract workers they are either going to have to increase their wages or drop customer amenities (like access to the dining room).

This. Beginning and end of Chick-fil-A's hiring problem, along with debunking BudS on this specific application.

I notice Pud totally avoided the bigotry part.

Hmmmmm........

The suggestion that the workers come to my "place" was classic deflection.

Typical Pud.

This must really vary by region. The Chik-Fil-A near us pays part time workers $13.25 to start and full time is $15+. Other local fast food places are paying $9-12.
