Chicago Bulls

I go back to the Reggie Theus, Dave Corzine days, and they've always been entertaining (Orlando Woolrich anyone?). Even in the really bad Jay Williams/Jamal Crawford era (short as it was), the team was exciting to watch. This team is just boring to me. I've been a solid fan for 30 years, but this is the first year that I didn't bother to watch any of the games (until the trade). I don't know what they can do, but they need to do something for next year (or get really lucky in the draft). The team is just blah.

Trust me, I'm just as sad as you. :(

Yeah, don't get me wrong...because I still catch some of the games on tv, and they're the ONLY sporting event and team that I reallllly get into. I'm talking yelling at the tv sort of thing. Drives Luna nuts, that's how crazy I tend to get. I still love watching my beloved home team, but whenever I watch, I can't help but long for the days that me and my friends used to get together in elementary and middle school and have "Bulls Parties" where we'd go to each other's houses and have serious parties with food and the tvs all tuned to the same station. We were like our dads + superbowl, only we were the daughters + bulls.

My favorite Bulls Party was the one where my Dad took three of my friends and I to a home game. Around the "Repeat the Threepeat" time.

Damn....the memories....driving home hanging out the windows, screaming, waving Bulls signs and the CD player blasting the Bulls Cd's....

*sigh*
