I seem to be posting a lot lately about stories where a grumpy person is cheered up by sex.

Do others have similar thoughts?

So I thought I'd start a thread for ideas using this as a theme/tool.

I'll start by repeating what I just posted on "location. location, location":

backstage at Presidents Day pagent at school. A parent volunteer, Dad, who is grumpy about being coerced to be Geo Washington, is cheered up by the pretty young teacher playing Martha.

Ooohhhh, yesss! THAT would be refreshing! Put it in Erotic Couplings! :D Is the dad married, single, divorced, or widowed? What about the teacher?

I'm not a fan of theme - perhaps because I, myself, can't be "cheered up" by sex.

But, I'm sure there are plenty of people who would enjoy it. :)

biological, sex should cheer one up, as it releases dopamines, the heroin of the brain.

I like the idea but I am not sure when the Sex can happen due to the situation. There are lots of potential locations, but no time when they might be left alone. Could they flirt with one another, thus cheering him up and then meet again later, possibly school related again.

Another possibility is that the dad catches the teacher changing, that could also cheer him up and then he could plan to have his wicked way with her.

Would like to see this story devloped in some way as it has lots of possibilities.

How does she cheer him up? Did they sneak off somewhere that children cannot find them?

I'm thinking that one of the lockers rooms is being used as a dressing room...

pehaps there is a point in the play where Martha sits on his lap and they take advantage of the volumness dresses of the day?

They'd have to lock the door or something to keep the tale kids-free.

the kids are restlessly listening to Abe Lincoln. Who you know isn't getting any from Mary Todd.
