cheating with the enemy

Glad you like the idea! I've just sent the completed story to the initial poster to ensure it was what she wanted; once I hear back from her I'll be posting it here as well.

Did the original poster ever get back to you? I myself am also very eager to read it, as I'm sure others here are too lol. I literally can't wait any longer :D

I gotta say it, it truly disturbs me, the number of people here who are going on about how they think "cheating is hot".

What the fuck is wrong with you? Cheating is disrespect. At root, that is absolutely what it is. It might be trendy to say "Cheating is hot" but in actuality you just putting your own love of being disrespectful for those who might love you out there. How is deliberately choosing to betray your spouse hot? What damage do you have to have to think that??

It's sociopathic behavior - go look it up, you'll see what I mean when you see some definitions - and it truly worries me to see so many people saying it. It's basically saying "I don't care what you think or how I hurt you. As long as I get my jollies, that's all that matters."

I can understand situations where lust gets the upper hand. Been there, done that. But at the end of the day, concern for your spouse or chosen other should always take precedence. If doesn't then why the hell are you with them in the first place?

The concept of a woman who wants to get off on the person who put her fiance in hospital is so... well, I dunno what the word is. Sick? Depressing? Sad?

This kind of behavior destroys relationships and societal fabric. Celebrating it is even worse.

I can tell you this - all those people saying "Cheating is hot"? They've never been on the receiving end of it, because Its Not. It's just pain and destruction for everyone.

Fucking the guy who put your man in hospital just means you are a revolting human being. There's not even a question about it - there is nothing redeeming about it what so ever.

Been on the recieving end still think it's hot.

I however agree one hundred percent that there is something seriously wrong with trying to fuck the guy who hospitalized your man. I'm very very rarely and even now reluctantly with them, but there is a phrase BTB. If I ever find a woman who does that, even to my worst enemy I'm going to have to struggle to decide if she should live or die.

I get that everyone is different in what they find sexually a turn on. I understand that, and if you and your spouse decide that sex isn't that important and it can be shared with others, then more power to you. I don't believe in that myself, but it's not for me to judge when spouses make a mutual decision like that.

But cheating - that as a society we know is bad news. That's why it's called Cheating. Because we all know how destructive and inappropriate it is. Unless both sides are getting something out of it, then it's one sided and no one will live like that for any period of time without serious emotional damage occurring.

We have vows when you get married to make the point that we won't do things like this to our spouses, and we are supposed to love them enough to stick to them. That's why they are called vows.

If you don't have intention of sticking to those vows, why bother in the first place? All you are doing is willfully and deliberately hurting the person you are supposed to love above all so you can get your jollies. It's bad enough when its being done just because, it's even worse when a wife (or husband) gets off on it. There's some seriously emotional issues if you think that hurting your spouse emotionally is hot. Something is wrong there. Society cannot exist in those kinds of situations. There's a reason ancient Roman life doesn't exist any more, and it's because they started to believe all that crap.

Now I also understand that some people have weird fetishes and stuff that turns them on. Back in the UK, we had a guy in the pub who was ONLY interested in women with a cold. For four months of the year, he was in hog heaven. The rest? The ultimate dry spell. But the point I'm making here is that if your fetish is to get off on the humiliation of your spouse then you probably can't fight that, but by god he needs to know before you start a long term relationship with him. Because if he doesn't know, and is deliberately misled, well, how the fuck is that going to last? No self respecting man is going to put up with that kind of shit. Where, exactly, do you expect this relationship to go? Apart from down the shitter, as soon as he finds out?

Can some one explain to me how this is ok? How fucking the man who put your guy in hospital is in any way ok? Please, explain to me how it's not some of the most emotionally damaging shit you can do to your other half? That it's not only ok, but 'hot'? Cos for the life of me, I don't get it.

This thread is supposed to be a "story idea" (and I know everyone here knows what that means, so I do not need to explain) and not a discussion on "if cheating is morally wrong", "hot", or not. :) Thanks!

The OP story idea is promising. The 'cheating' debate... well, I'm about to submit a semi-serious semi-humorous essay on WHAT IS CHEATING? Stay tuned, it should be up next week, and I'll be glad to see the discussions it provokes (if any).

(The essay is about 1.5 LIT pages, a bit too long to post here.)

Echoing this encouraging sentiment.

@jezzaz: I understand your points but remember this is works of fiction. I personally differentiate between fictional stories and real-life actions to the point that there are things I enjoy in fiction that I wouldn't enjoy in real life.

For why cheating is hot, I think it's the context. These aren't stories about open relationships or swinging couples just having another "excursion"; it's committed people giving into forbidden lusts without an initial intention to do so. It does have a dark feel to it but that can be appealing in its own dirty way, especially as different background scenarios can significantly change how a scene is viewed. Hearing a couple having sex through the walls? Pretty hot. Then hearing the woman moan about how the guy "is so much better than her boyfriend"? Oh my...

Indeed she did. I've submitted the story, so now it's just a matter of waiting for the Lit editors to do their thing.

As for the discussion of the ethics of the story, obviously the scenario is wrong. But things that are ethically suspect can be arousing, enjoyable, or otherwise fun. Fictional stories let us explore and enjoy these fantasies without actually doing anything. As best I can tell, there's no difference, ethically speaking, between this story and, say, Sean's rape story Fucking Poser.

I CANT WAIT. How long does it typically take for the lit editors to post the story?

I think most of my stories have been up within a week of being submitted, so I'd expect to see it next Thursday or earlier.

hahahahaha, this makes me laugh so much that I can't even be bothered to reply. Please, continue, I'll hand you a soap box to continue, just let me kick back first :D
