[TLDR; the last paragraph is really the reason I made this post. Everything else is just a jumble of random thoughts I had about my personal fantasies that I felt like sharing. Skim away if you're short on time, but I am interested in hearing others' perspectives on what I like!]
NOT INTO CUCKOLDING
I have nothing against cuckolding, we all like what we like, but it's a shame to me that these genres are always so closely associated and that cuckolding is so much more popular. Almost every single fantasy I find involving a girl cheating on her man is from the perspective of the guy being cheated on, and he is completely aware and willing of her infidelity.
BORING!!! Hahaha I kid, again like whatever you like, but this does absolutely nothing for me. The entire thing about girls cheating that makes it so hot to me is the lust; it's their decision that good dick is worth betraying such a deep, meaningful relationship or risking their partner finding out that I find so hot. The dude knowing about it defeats the entire point of the fantasy to me.
Personally, I prefer the story to be from the perspective of the man she's cheating with or the girl herself. I fantasize about being in the position of the man girls cheat WITH rather than ON, so having the story told from his perspective makes empathizing easy and fun. At the same time, while I find it harder to empathize with the female character, it's always interesting to see their perspective and see the internal battle between being a good girlfriend/wife and lust for a good dickin'
THE MORE GRADUAL THE BETTER TOO!! On top of being really into the infidelity theme, I'm also just fascinated by human behavior and decision making in general. Seeing the ways that people can gradually rationalize behavior in very small baby steps to eventually end up doing something they'd never have initially been okay with... I don't know, something about it is so interesting to me. So very long, drawn out stories where a woman is initially completely and utterly devoted to her relationship and is very, VERY gradually worn down by an attractive, masculine stud so that by the end of the story she's like addicted to sneaking off and fucking him...

It's interesting to me that being on the side of the "cheated on" party is so much more popular. It would seem natural for me for more people to fantasize about being in a "superior" position, taking someone else's woman, than in the position of the person having their woman taken from them. Again, I can't stress enough that I intend absolutely no judgement toward anyone into cuckolding fantasies. It is in a way the complete opposite of what I'm into and I won't pretend that I understand the urge to be in that position, but I also understand that my preferences are no more valid than anyone else's; we're all just trying to get off!!
I'm not really posting this for advice or anything. If anyone happens to have story recs that might fit what I like I'd be interested to check them out, but that's not really what I'm here for. I guess I'm just curious how many others are interested in this side of cheating and what their perspectives are/what they like about cheating. If anyone has any other thoughts on what I wrote here (literally ANY other thoughts) feel free to share! I haven't talked with many people before about my fantasies so I'd be more than happy to chat away. I'd also be more than interested to hear the perspective of someone into cuckolding who would like to compare our respective fantasies and why we like what we like.
