Anyone else find cheating to be a turn on? Or at least the idea of it whether you go through with it or not?

No, if your cheating its because your either over sexed, and your gf or wife cant keep up with you, or she is passed it which is my excuse. One has to be discrete

I don't think it's the cheating necessarily that is a turn on, I think it's the "newness" or "strangeness" of someone different...IMO the grass is greenest where you water it and if someone isn't happy they should change what they can or move on...

I'm sure the thrill of getting away with it is a rush for many though...I've cheated in SO's in the past, sometimes felt bad about it and sometimes rationalized it away so I won't judge anyone, but I can't condone it

what if it is the husband who cant keep up with the wife???

not sure if I find it a turn on. but the newness is hot.

What if the husband wants the wife to cheat?

Now that may be a different thing altogether...I wouldn't want my wife to have a relationship or sex with another man and not tell me about it and hide it from me...that does not preclude the sex with another man and is fantasy though...in bout discussions we've agreed that having another party involved with us isn't considered "cheating" since we are both involved and in agreement..it wasn't done without consent and knowledge...just how I view it...personally I don't think I could get into her going out and having sex with others and telling me about it later...

Then that makes you a cuckold and is a whole different fetish. Either way, the "cheating thing" has been covered, a lot, in a thread or two here. So has the "cuckold thing".

I don't know if it's a turn on, yet I cannot seem to remain faithful. Or maybe I haven't found the girl I want to be faithful too.

Cheating girls turn me on though, both on me and with me ;)

Then you have not met the right girl, or your a sex addict and need some serious counseling

I want my wife to fuck her ex b/f who when shes telling me about being in bed with him, she gets hot and bothered. I know he was good in bed, and a part of her misses that. But she said she dorsnt need to, and doesn't want to. But, I bet she would more than enjoy it. And has my permission if the chance comes.

To me there is a big difference in the "if the chance arises you can" vs. "go do it and tell me about it later" vs "let me watch you and join in with another guy"...I wouldn't be ok with the first two but have discussed the latter with her and would be open to it...huge difference to me...I guess it depends on your definition of "cheating" though...if you've given any consent to the act it isn't cheating to me, it's just sex...cheating to me is when he/she has a relationship or sex with another person and doesn't tell you about it

Is it the concept of "cheating" becuause you're getting away with something that's "secret" or is it because it's "taboo" or is it just the "newness" of a different partner.

I knew a woman who was a marriage counselor and wrote an interesting paper on the dynamics of 'cheating". Often it's not just the newness of sex with someone else but the concept of "sharing something secret" with someone else that's the excitement factor. Sometimes, it's basically a need to validate oneself as a person for those who feel insecure.

In general, anything that's new and somewhat taboo like sex with someone you shouldn't have sex with feels like a "turn on" because it's exciting. It's not the same old same old in the bedroom on Saturday night. The healthier approach (and some people CAN achieve it if both partners are willing) is to try for that "taboo" feeling with your regular partner. Get some toys. Watch some porn.

Do something you don't normally do or don't think you'd do. How about a blowjob in the back row of a movie theater or fuck in the car parked out back behind the church. Something that makes you feel "naughty" and "bad" but without risking your marriage with an affair. Try some role play and meet at a motel as two different people and try to fuck like strangers, say what you normally don't say to each other. Act like you aren't a couple but a john and a whore, whatever makes it feel more "taboo". Try for that "secret dirty nasty" feeling without risking your marriage. Try to avoid hurt and divorce. Some people can do it. Many just feel stupid trying. It takes committment from both sides.
