Chat Room Problems

Not sure if this is the right place to post or not, but was wondering why the Chat Room is never up and running. It says Initializing but it just sits there. Is it somethign on my side or the sites side. Thanks

Lit's chat feature is notoriously unreliable, and it has been for years. Even when people are able to get on, they're often banned for no apparent reason.

So, enjoy socializing on the board and/or find another place to chat because improving the chat here clearly isn't a big priority of the site owners.

Does anyone know or use good chat sites with a slightly adult edge (like Lit's)? As you say, curren Lit chat is a bit tempromental.

Interested to know whether posting links to other sites/forums/chat websites would actually be against any of Literotica's rules...

Advertising is not allowed, but posting resources is allowed. For instance, if someone asks a question about swinging, I'm likely to direct them to a site or three (including another discussion board) that focuses on that topic. The same goes for sex toys and just about anything else, but I'm not gaining anything by posting those resources.

Now if I had a sex toy site or tried to promote any other site or product for my personal gain, there'd be a problem.

There are a bunch of threads around here that contain chat recommendations, and particularly since Lit's chat feature doesn't work, there's no issue posting links to that type of thing as long as you're not doing so for personal gain (that includes affiliate links).

Thanks for the information. I'll look around for other chat room discussions. Frustrating because I have always enjoyed this site and would enjoy being able to chat too. Plus who wants to pay for what you can get for free. I'll keep hunting and awsome profile picture of yourself. wink

I have always enjoyed the chat rooms on Lit. By in large the best chats.

You can get in but I have to keep clicking on it repeatedly.

Humm, dosn't seem to want to work for me.. Bummer cause it is a good chat room. when it's operational that is.
