from a bunch of slobs (in the main) who steal other peoples body images and post them as if they were hot, and who condescend to other Lit patrons who prefer direct fantasy and perhaps even contact. I didn't post this thread to start trouble with the in crod of this hopeless board, but to notify the management (if they didn't already know!) and to see if others had the same problem - as if your key no longer worked in a door you opened every few days.

Speaking as a cm, Killer Muffin, I wouldn't boot for BB drama. We all have drama. I do think however, that you would find the chat a bit more welcoming. There are some really shallow folks there. Really shallow. But there are also good people and some good conversations to be had, just like there are here.

I've enjoyed most of your posts KM, you are eloquent and can have a sharp tongue as needed. I've read your tips on writing, and even bookmarked a few of the links you've posted. Thanks.

As for me, I get a kick out of being fluffy. It's silly and all in fun. And it's allowed here on the GB, just as it's allowed in the Playground, the How To board, Lit Chat and most other places here within Lit. I also enjoy the more serious discussions but tend not to post there, I tend to read and check the links and the like. There are a few nics here that I like to follow, if they post something, I'm more apt to read it and keep up with it. It's been somewhat of a disappointment to see some of those same people slamming the threads that don't adhere to their idea of proper board content.

Enough of my rambling. Hope you all have a terrific weekend.

the chat people aren't very judgemental. The board people are smug beyond belief or logic. The chat rooms are global - the board is small town trailer park gossip and feud stuff.

I came here for about a month 6 months ago and found the attitudes thoroughly ridiculous. I got sucked in for a little while and then did some research and saw how many people had gotten addicted the the board and then gotten flamed off it. They started that newbie crap they always start and I got out.

Now I just have fun in chat once in a while and I definitely think the people are funnier. And yes, we do talk about things besides sex.

the board is funny = all these narrowminded people polling each other, flaming, using those sexy avs that don't look like them, and getting embarrassed and cranky when someone admits to actually using Lit to get their cookies off.

Um..not exactly what I said. I think you find your share of narrowminded people in both places. Goodness knows there is silly 'trailer park' drama that goes on in Chat to. I'm not saying that one is better than the other. Not at all. Only that so many different people can be found in both places that sometimes tolerance and patience is needed. Here AND chat.
