I don’t change my cages so much as the base rings. My go to is a 40mm that is quite comfortable but if it starts to pinch too much I switch to a 45mm. I like the 40 mm because when I shower I don’t have to take it off or wear a retaining strap because it doesn’t allow for too much slippage for the time I am washing. The larger one just slides on down so I have a strap I keep just to wear while showering.
