I'm talented in finding things to use my time on - if I have the energy... Unfortunately I've never had the opportunity of being kept. My ex told me that it's what I'd need, and nowadays I tend to think he was right.

Actually, not back. Thank goodness! This is a whole new city, new organisation, totally new tasks. A lot to learn, but should be interesting, whereas my old job was half the reason for my exhaustion and depression. But I'm far from sure I am able to work even 50% yet.
