Reading all these different posts has me being Thankful to my parent's for my raising. Was taught from an early age to treat people with respect, especially women, well until they did something to not earn that respect. I admit I have looked & admired a woman when I seen thing's but have never disrespected or taking advantage of her in anyway. Does this mean I might have missed out on some things, sure but I can sleep well knowing I didn't do anything disrespectful.

Honestly? I’m in such a different/better place with this stuff as a man than I was 6-7 years ago. Like, I think I’ve always had an equality/feminist bent, but doing more listening and realizing just how endemic some of this shit is, and the short bridge between how guys talk about women to men accosting/assaulting women has been very eye opening.

Thank You, as I only have 3 daughter's, made for different kind of talks but they are older now & been in long term relationships, so I like to think our talks had some insight on what to be prepared & look for. I can't take all the credit, the wife had a lot of input, having experienced some bad things in life. The combo must've worked as they have goog, nice, respectful spouse's.

Once you see it, it’s hard not to. I give feminist lessons to my sons’ friends regularly. I’m physically imposing so that helps. I hear them call girls names like whore and slut, we have a conversation. Good ones. Not just me threatening to beat ass. Where they learn it, why they think it’s okay, what do those words actually mean. It’s a hard conversation to have with twenty 17-22 year old young men. It’s enlightening. And then I meet their dads, and it becomes clear.

The education I provide is that I will teach you how to treat me. And if you dont treat me respectfully, you don’t talk to me or mine at all.

Everyone loves coming to Momma M’s house. I feed you. I let you be a kid. I give hugs and listen to you talk about your life. You can even bring your significant other. But you will not utter a word of disrespect to me, mine, or each other. That’s the rule. I’ve only thrown one person out and he’s never been back.

No, I finally got through to a person after *an hour* on hold. Only to be told I had to pay a fee I didn’t think I should have to and I had to do it online

I was productive in the morning and early afternoon. Some b.o.r.i.n.g. stuff I have to do before selling the house, and some yucky chores. Nice relaxing time later in the afternoon. And now I think I will haul some stuff to the car, I am NOT going to spend my time trying to sell it 2nd hand, getting almost nothing - much better just donate it!

Oh but dinner first. I'm hungry!

Well I have a buyer who is now negotiating with his bank!

But I have to get rid of everything that will not fit into my next home. From 170m2 to maybe 62 m2... and just a small cellar cubicle instead of a 200m2 cellar and 400m2 garage.

I'm watching my boys run around outside chasing rabbits. Every so often Rocky will catch one, but he never hurts and he lets it go so that they can chase it again. After that I guess I'll see where the thirst takes me
