It’s interesting. All we can do is do better, and kick the asses of those who need it. Raise our boys better. Correct the guys who need correcting. Teach women they aren’t objects.

Do better. That’s it. Just do better.

Start with you. Not implying that you specifically are bad. Only that you catch yourself behaving in a way that is inappropriate, thinking in a way that is inappropriate, then you self police. I used to go to school with this guy who would talk all day long about treating his girl with respect, but then slap random asses as he walked by. So I'd say start by being a good example, and those you have influence on influence them.

Though I love me some Bill Nye … he’s really disappointed me in the last year on tiktok … he’s been promoting brands … which, whatever… every celebrity does this… but he was promoting paper towel… which as a scientist I don’t know that we should be supporting non-sustainable things. I use paper towel and I feel guilty doing so because I know it’s such a waste.

That's cause Bill Nye is now more of a Shill guy then a Science guy.

Reading all these different posts has me being Thankful to my parent's for my raising. Was taught from an early age to treat people with respect, especially women, well until they did something to not earn that respect. I admit I have looked & admired a woman when I seen thing's but have never disrespected or taking advantage of her in anyway. Does this mean I might have missed out on some things, sure but I can sleep well knowing I didn't do anything disrespectful.
