I'm like @crazychemgirl and always a million degrees... I've been in saunas before, when I was younger, and enjoyed them, but I think right now I'd just feel hot and uncomfortable Maybe if it were winter!

We go to sauna even in during a heat wave. It feels less hot afterwards, easier to fall asleep.

Your family has been in Canada longer than mine. My grandfather moved from Belarus to Canada in 1910.

Fun fact: Finnish peacekeepers always build a sauna in the barracks... Even in Cyprus, Lebanon etc, where it is hot.
