I have a lotta hair but I remember years ago stripping the colour out my very very dark brown hair to make it light brown (yes people I am no natural blonde ) and my God it was like straw. I thought I’d burnt it off hahaha
It’s only since I got old and grey my hairdresser encouraged me to go blonde. Never been blonde in my life!!

I went lighter like 2 years ago. Very gradually and everything and my hair was like straw for a long time. It’s way healthier now but still thin

All my hair rn is "baby hair" and i had forgotten how black my hair is and hadn't seen my hair this curly since prob my early teens . I'm prob not drying my hair going forward

You're welcome to some of my curls - I'll probably be fully grey in the next five years. But that's the ginger for you; beard is mostly white on my chin and curls have gone grey in large patches.

I don't anymore. I started transitioning to curly hair in 2016. That's how long it's been since I have straightened my hair. With the exception of 2020 when I was gonna donate my hair, i did straightened it before cutting it per the instructions.

Definitely don’t blow dry or put any heat on your hair unl as you’re using heat protection. Even then do it sparingly

But idk...i constantly have to remind myself that I'm an adult and I'm not doing anything illegal or that I'm ashame of.

And this is coming from me, a WOC and we get scrutinize more harshly. But also that's why I'm careful about what i post and share and whom i share with.

No, none of this is illegal. But I'm sure there are no doubt more than a few of us, of which I'm one, who come here for an escape, and keep this world secret from their spouse/significant other.

To have someone try to screw up someone's personal life because they don't like what they say or how how they act on a message board is fucked.

Yeah. Most of my upkeep, I learned from youtube. I had family that taught me how to coordinate an outfit, but hair and make-up was self tought. I didn't want to look Rocky-horror

I am confused by all the hair care talk. I've never used any products, or appliances. I never even use conditioner or mouse or anything. As for grey...my beard is salt and pepper and I have thick grey at my temples, but its still mostly dark.
