But idk...i constantly have to remind myself that I'm an adult and I'm not doing anything illegal or that I'm ashame of.

And this is coming from me, a WOC and we get scrutinize more harshly. But also that's why I'm careful about what i post and share and whom i share with.

But seriously..Again, maybe they're just rumors. I don't know. But I'm in IT and I get very nervous about personal info. Which is why I'm leary about publicly posting pics that include my face.

I've already had to deal with someone trying to get a COVID business loan in my name through the Small Business Administration. And attempting to collect unemployment benefits from RI under my name.

Exactly, and it’s also a very personal choice to show any part of yourself
I do think those instances have been very isolated cases but it has happened so it’s understandable people are cautious

Just having a second while I'm stopped to expound on this...

While I agree there are mostly decent people on here, it only takes one bad one to screw someone over.

Maybe they're just rumors, and if real, perhaps very rare, but it's been my understanding that there were previous Lit members (guys, andnot from this thread) that had their personal lives fucked with by people digging up personal info based on image lookups, etc.

If I do post, it will be here, and briefly.

And, yeah, I'm handsome AF.

Of course this happens. Lit's dirty secret. But people just pretend it doesn't, and hope for the best. Besides, who's ever going to come back and admit it afterwards?

I understand what you're saying. I wont make light of it. It's always been very easy for me, I have nothing to put at risk. I've no money position to worry about, no personal or public reputation to ruin. I have no spouse or family to blackmail or out me to. Honestly, someone would have to pay off some of my debts to get my credit score up, in order to even take out a loan or anything. I can afford to not be anonymous.
