The other side of heaven
It was really good. Very small theater, which I love. The actors were really good.
I remember seeing a movie with that title about a Mormon missionary to Polynesia or something like that. Was the play about that? Or do they just happen to share the same title?

Good morning!

I'm coming off a much-needed night of 11 hours of sleep. Much-needed because the previous 2 nights I got 3 and 2 hours, respectively. I'm in a much better mood today. :)
Hoping you set a precedent I'll be following this evening.

This happened to me last year for the first time. A woman in her twenties got up on the Tube and offered me her seat. I was poised with a diatribe on her need to break free from patriarchal expectations, when I suddenly realised she thought I might be infirm, remembered my manners, lied, told her I was only going two stops and that my knees were better when I was upright, got out two stops later, scuttled into the next carriage where I hoped she wouldn't notice me, and felt utterly crushed.
oh hell no. I thought cat callers calling me ma'am and apologizing was bad. I hope the rudeness of Americans prevents me from experiencing this scenario.

Just gonna throw this out there:
I say ma’am not it in an age context, in a politeness context. In the south, when we call you ma’am, it’s respect. 🤷🏻‍♀️
I actually love that. There was a guy from US (Houston) and we worked together for some time. At the beginning he would always call me "ma'am", and I would giggle. 😁

I both like the sound of it and the intention. 😘
