Changing User Names

There are two of us using the same computer, and with the new setup, I can't seem to figure out how to change usernames. With the old setup, "logged in user" was a text field, just like "subject" or "password". Now it's set automatically (by a cookie, I assume?).

How do I go about changing usernames, when I want to use *my* name to post?

I just went to the main forum page, you know the one with "Site Announcements" etc on it? At the bottom right of the page is a "log out" link that worked fine for me.

Tried that. But when I come back to Lit, it logs "Vivid" right back in, without giving me the option of changing names.

turn off the thing that says automatically log you in.

Hokay. Figured it out.

I had to do several things. First, I did have to go and change the "automatically log me in" setting. But that didn't completely work. Then, I had to go and delete the cookie that was in the Windows/Cookies directory, even though when I log out, it says that it's deleting the cookies. *Then* I had to find the cookie that was hiding from me (!) in the Windows/Temporary Internet Files/Content.IE5 directory. Ack. Now, I just have to get my computer fixed, so I don't have to use his computer and worry about which one of is logged in!
