Changing of the Guard

And, what, Natural Born Killer's wasn't funny?:D

It was - and if I ever feel like going on an insane killing spree I'd want Juliette Lewis along to load my guns :)

Oliver Stone has a tendency to overdo the political satire in his movies though. Not that I disagree, but sometimes he has a hard time grasping the concept "subtle".

Speaking of Juliette Lewis, I came close to picking Cape Fear over Psycho today.

THE TURN OF THE SCREW is genius for subtlety. Imagine writing a novel of underage sex a century ago, and it be popular.

Oliver Stone reminds me of Bart Simpson's nemesis, Nelson Muntz.

Agreed, Stone is a little too in your face. In writing terms sometimes I think its telling rather than showing in that he seems to think the viewer can't figure things out and he needs to hit them in the head over and over.

For me, one of the funnier parts(although it was meant to be sick) was seeing the lovable goof Rodney Dangerfield as a sick daughter molesting father, it was that dark funny so to speak

And Yes Juliette. One of those women that technically was not that hot(to me anyway) but had that sort of trashy look that made ehr that way.

The opening sequence in the diner where she gets in a fist fight with the redneck still stands out to me.

There is a woman in my dojo who is just has a flat out mean streak. A few years ago some asshole started hitting on her in a bar then made the mistake of following her out to her car and grabbing her. Took two people to get her off him and he was hurting for a long time after that.

I started calling her Mallory and it's stuck ever since.

One strange with her is Dusk Til dawn, just a stupid as fuck vampire movie that is not worth seeing for free.

But...

It was like two movies. It starts very well Tarantino is in it with George Clooney and they are bank robber on the run. They kidnap Lewis and her family and it has some good sick moments especially from Tarantino who keeps staring at Lewis and thinking she's saying "Want to lick my pussy" she's actually insulting him, but its hot to hear her say it.

Then the highlight of the film is a striptease from Salma Hayak wearing just a boa constrictor. There is a point where she puts her foot in Tarantino's mouth and pours champagne down her leg.

then the vampires appear and it becomes the three stooges meet the undead. So if you can get it for free watch the first half hour or so then shut it off:rolleyes:

He's right, viewers cant figger it out.

Most folks go to football games to drink and watch the girls, cuz they got no clue of an idea whats happening on the field.
