Hmmmm guess I'll keep a daily update going.
Well the eye is still rather blurry and a little dilated so still can't see for hell out of it. But didn't need the Vicodin this morning to overpower morning pain so thats good, I suppose
On a side note, finally got the Naval hospital to write up my leave chit, they should be sending that to the ship now, so that I'll actually legally be off of the ship heh. One less stress to deal with.

I'm so glad you're on the mend. Sight is something I value and never take for granted and a detached retina is far too close a call.
Continued good healing on your peeper.
Yea no kidding...they said right before the surgery that I was very close to affecting permanent vision...in a couple of days I should know the outcome...

Well the bubble is slowly going away...so mostly out of that eye I see the bubble...and cloudy outside of the bubble though I can see things like my hand waving in front of my eye.

Slowly but surely. The gas bubble is just about gone now...vision is still double vision and blurry from the right eye though. Should go away in time
