I work a full time job where I actually hire the people who usually don't get second chances. I am actively involved with the men of a sober living facility and regularly do concerts at a homeless outreach center as well as spending time getting to know the people who use their resources. Once a month I spend time in a nursing home. I am actively involved in a project where we use poetry and spoken word to start conversations in the community and restore the voice of those the community had written off, then train them to use it effectively, no matter what their story or worldview is. I use time and resources to personally invest in the outcast and poor, you know, the ones you guys claim I don't care about. I reach out, not down, because I share their story, and I know their value in God's eyes.

All that and I have a little bit of a social life and an adorable guinea pig.

In other words, like most of us your side labels "Deplorables" or MAGA, I spend my time caring for and investing in others because I genuinely care enough to be personally involved in lives. We don't depend on donations and government activism to do the work of hands on care for people. We know it isn't the government's job. That role belongs to the individual and the individual organizations, like churches or Samaritan's Purse, to accomplish in our local communities. We resent government involvement because it is the least efficient, the most invasive, and the absolute worse solution. It's the lazy way to virtue signal while not really caring.

I know you don't get that with your passive bigotry and your lazy attitude toward investing in someone who isn't you or immediately related to you.

But I don't just sit on here all day. I do get out, and I live a fulfilling life of loving others.

That's why people, real people who are about real life, not just about self-serving, virtue signaling, and insisting everything is someone else's fault, that they are a helpless victim, and that they are owed something in life, that's why we find videos like these hysterical.

And, yes, people do watch them. They just won't post on here because they don't want the abuse from the likes of you. I do occasionally get them messaging me, however, thanking me for being willing to take the stand for truth against the Marxist, liberal mindset that pervades most of these threads, indeed much of the Internet.

Just remember, because you have all kinds of agreement with you online, doesn't mean you are in the majority. Your side equally annoys and amuses us, but we don't respond by rioting, burning cities down, putting most of a city under siege for a month, or beating people nearly to death, killing others outright, because they wear a hat supporting someone we don't like. Nope. We go to work, go to church, love our families, raise our kids with set good values, love our neighbors, and invest in our communities. And then we vote. And occasionally run for office, knowing you will lie about everything we do.

So don't deign to lecture me about getting out and doing something. Your side is the group with the time to riot and burn months at a time. Maybe look in a mirror.

And yes, I will continue to post videos that are quite funny, that expose your hypocrisy, and even poke fun at our side, because we are capable of laughing at ourselves. Unlike your crowd, we retain an actual sense of humor.

I've stayed on the thread topic, now I am responding to the challenge put out by someone on here. I simply (I repeat) will not allow you to define the terms of discourse or debate. You have no absolutes to anchor the terms. It's the same reason your side doesn't get to redefine words, using the "evolving language" and "cultural relevance" reasoning, then say, "That's what the word means now and if you don't agree, you don't believe in words or science."

I can't read? I've been reading on a college level since elementary school, writing on a college level since Jr. high. I read War and Peace for a book report in 7th grade. My favorite books are Les Miserables, The Count of Monte Cristo, and The Three Musketeers, none of them light reads. I have read everything from Marx to Sowell. I actually read paper books and publications, some of which have no online presence. I'd venture to guess I am better read than you are.

As for my usage of words, I invite you to read what I write in the poetry threads, or listen to some of my work in the main audio thread I post on. Hell, you can even find out if I have legit chops as a guitarist, a singer, and a songwriter. We can have a write-off if you like and we will find who the more skilled writer is, since I am sure you have great skill as a poet and have much you can teach me.

But don't be condescending enough to claim I am less intelligent than you and your crowd. You libs do this all the time. It's why you feel like you have the high ground to take everyone's money and resources by force of government, and to redistribute the money and goods to the "worthy" whose only merit is the victim status you have convinced into them. Seriously, you are the least diverse and most shallow group I have ever seen. It's why your comedy is so trite and pathetic.

I'm a huge fan of Garrison Keilor, and he was hardly a conservative. The old Jay Leno stuff was great, Jimmy Fallon, when he's not on his political rants, is hysterical, and the old SNL material is great sketch comedy. They even have some great stuff occasionally now. I still try to catch SNL's Weekend Update.
