Howdy, word gurus!

I've read many very good poems on Lit, and on this board. I especially like the challenge threads, like Passion, Darmaas' bars and the Music.

So here goes another one. :)

Can we find that perfect ten? A short line or two that says more than any brick sized novel on the bookshelf? Well, at least I think we should try.

Here be Poems.
Poetry in any freewheelin' form.
As long as they are ten words or shorter.

I start this thread for my own therapy more than anything else. My own writting is often talkative, verbal and lengthy, spreading adjectives and adverbs like manure. Flowery speech can be nice, but It's always healthy to practice what you're less good at. I'll see if this can help me refine my expression and churn out the essentials.

Feel free to join in. :rose:

A first attempt...

to sum up the post above. :)

Drowning in descriptions,
aching from adjectives...
Will I cure myself?

Don't break
a heart

Spare parts
are expensive
these days

silence cushions

words shatter
moment's fragility
breaking it into less
sweet familiarity

laidies!
muses!
your graceful presence humbles,
witty words inspires
consolidation

Cascading water
frictionless touch
wandering caress
slippery curves
Wet kisses

These are wonderful, Senna. I thought of your poems--and some of Rybka's--when Ice posted this challenge.
Indeed. Senna, those are such little sparkles. Thank you for sharing. :rose:

He shaved.
It grew back.
Beards are stubborn fuckers.

I woke up today.
I've done that before.
Deja-vu?

----------

Had it.
Lost it.
Had what?
Can't remember.
