Cell popping

I'm really curious about this. There's a lot of technical information, but can someone give an account of what it feels like on the receiving end? There's one account of pain on a scale of 1 to 10 listed as a 4 but also mentions he has a high threshold for pain. Can someone shed additional light or more details?

He's looking into this and I'm excited. Curious about what I'm in for. *squeaks!*

In my experience, it depends a lot on what part of the body is being worked on and how deep it is.

The breast and areola fluctuated between a 4 and 6... (Word to the wise: start on the breast and not the areola to give the endorphins time to kick in).
The shoulder was like 2-3.
The outer calf was somewhere in the neighborhood of a 3-4.
The hip/butt cheek was a 1-2
The inner thigh was a delicious 5-7 (Another word of advice: the more rubbing of clothing the longer it's going to be irritated and sore.)
And the inside of the forearm was like a flat 7.

Honestly, it's going to vary based on a lot of different factors. If it's done pre-play it's going to feel different than if it's done post-play or without play. Head space can also make a difference... If I'm not feeling well or a little off balance from real life, it's much harder to let go and absorb the pain like I want to. Then there's the head fuck of watching them heat the pokey stick... That'll make it hurt like a fucking bitch - and I'm a pain whore.

This website has some beautiful work on it, thank you. I have been interested in this mostly as an alternative to getting a tattoo( the kiss of relationship death)...I would probably scar lightly, or at least hold the mark for a very long time. As a former chef this would be a serious mindfuck as I accept burns when cooking but I cringe when I am not in Chef mode.

Sounds interesting, I love tattoos..
Wouldn't say I liked getting burned though. I think I could take it.
Thanks for the site, I'll be browsing through there today.

Just as an FYI - remember that everyone is different and different parts of the body hold a mark for different periods of time.

There are people who get a burning and it's totally gone in 6 months while others lose their mark in 2 weeks. Others get a burning once and even after it isn't visible it shows up as soon as that area is bruised. Others get a repeat burning every couple of months for years with minimal to no scaring once it heals. And still others get a burning once and two years later it looks exactly the same as it did when it finished healing over.

As much as I love devil's fire as a body modification and for play, be careful what you put and where. You are marking your body with no guarantee of the short or long term outcome each time you do it.

I agree with chy_girl; at what point in my play it enters the picture is a big part of it. So is how long, how hot, and where. I'd test on a less visible area until you have a better idea of what you like and how much what you like marks. My favorite place is the back, but that's just because it's where I can take the most and it's a nice blank canvas that's covered easily. :) Have fun!
