Cell (Mobile for you Brits) Phone Echo?

When on a call, I get a lot of echo and can't always tell when the other party has started talking. Result is we end up talking over each other and have to stop and repeat. Do you experience that?

Yup. The call needs to be re-initiated and then it work fine. I though it was just my crappy cell service.

It hasnt happened to me since I changed carriers but it used to happen a lot.

It's not an uncommon problem. I've hit it a few times. I'm on an iPhone and the usual solution for me is to just stop and start the phone (reboot).

It's said online if it's persistent you might need to reset the phone to the factory settings, though I've never had to do it.

Common problem. That's why I don't use this kind of phone.

it usually only happens when your call is being listened in on by police, security, cyber hackers (same as the previous two really) or similar. nothing to worry about.

I've never experienced this. Never even heard anyone else mention it.
Maybe it's just not a common thing in britland.

I just recently found out an old cellphone and tried to understand how to talk on it But nokia 103 user manual wich I found here was really helpful to understand how to fix this problem
