Cat's Secrets

This is just so ethereal and surreal! I love it!

Thanks...I am hoping to go out again soon, this time with tripod and time on my hands and hopefully get some better shots. In the meantime, I have taken some at the Keukenhof gardens, and then this evenings suinset which I just happened to see through the kitchen window as I was cleaning up after cooking. LOL, I had to run up to the 3rd floor where my camera was, then got there and realised I left the tripod downstairs so had to shoot on zoom without it and didn't expect to get much of a shot. Wasn't as bad as I expected, especially as I had been followed by the 2 cats who were trying to see what I was so interested in taking photos of through the window. :D

:rose: Thanks....Apart from my 35mm film cameras I still have, I have a Canon A520, and my main one (unless he decides to buy me the DSLR I want and need) is a Canon G6. I bought him a nice bottle of cognac as part of his birthday present, which I have put to very good use. :D

I know what you mean..... I have a Nikon F 601m with several lenses but I must confess I hardly ever use it anymore  since I bought a digital camera. My current one, however, is a small one (with a zoomlens, but still... ) and I'm starting to crave a better camera again, but don't want to go back to analog(ue). I tried the SONY Alpha a while ago and it was great, so now I'm planning to buy one of those. It's still expensive though.

What does it mean if it says that the photo's are currently unavailable on FLICKR?

Wow!!!!!

Catalina, you have an incredible gift!!! I started at the beginning of the thread and was keeping a mental note of my favorites, but as I continued my exploration, I found the list too long! Photography is a passion of mine, and I LOVE when a piece of art can evoke emotion. Yours absolutely does, and I so look forward to seeing more of your work.

I did want to comment on a couple of the photos. I think your furbaby is SO cute....the picture you titled "Bliss" is so sweet! The one of her/his face is gorgeous how you can see each individual piece of fur!!

There was a picture that had a waterfall in the background (I think it was on the first page.), and that photo hit home for me. I practice guided imagery on a daily basis, for the most part, and that photo was almost identical to the image I create in my mind during this process of relaxation. I've never seen anything like it before, and it's kind of surreal to see an image that I thought existed only in my mind gracing my computer screen.

Thank you for sharing your amazing talent with us! I can't wait to see what you share next. You most certainly do have a gift, though, and I feel honored to be able to enjoy it.

Thank you NALA CAYENNE and Luvkitty....I still have a long way to go, but it amuses me to play around with and I try to keep the balance between developing and still enjoying it as a means of relaxation and creative expression.

I have been out and in of late, but still not enough time to do as much as I would like...
