Took the words out of my mouth

Love the variety
A treat to see
Thank you so much for sharing these

Thank you all....I had lovely visitor who set up home across the top of my front doorway. Was not easy to photogragh given the wind was blowing a gale which made it a waving target, and I had to balance on a little step ladder in my doorway with the neighbours passing and giving me strange looks!!

I love her "Jesu y María" cross at the apex of the abdomen. :D A sort of Pachuco spider, maybe.

Thanks....I am getting very attached to this visitor. Of course, I have been told to remove it, which ]i have done 3 times now, but each time it starts to rebuild its web in the same place, just bigger and stronger each time!! Personally I would ba happy to leave it there, but seems I am outvoted and if I don´t want harm to come to it I have to convince it to go and rebuild somewhere other then our front door. :(

Thanks...I am using a Canon G6 on macro setting which is not as good as a macro lens, but far better than I hoped for. It rained today which added some extra interest, though I felt sorry for our damp friend.

The cat's paw is so emblematic. :) It makes me want to own the image.

I have Pachuco Spiders (since we haven't the scientific name) in Maine, too. They are the commonest of the fellows who set traps in my hedges and doorways here. I like the wet one here.

Indeed! The cat itself is beautiful. And you've captured it's mischievous quality.

Only by remaining less than satisfied, can we continue to improve.

So true, the perfectionist in me is always telling me I can do much better. I have had some people telling me I should try and eradicate that from my personality, but it is what has gotten me through some fairly bad situations so I see it as an advantage more than a negative.
