I came to respect them. used to be a dog guy, but cats are superior, just look at how they survive all over the world, and if you abandon them they will just go on by them self. A dog would not survive. Our cats also maintain a no fly zone around the house. I think that is really cool, though bird lovers (many of them are female as well) do not like us for that.
cats do not take side of a gender, they take their own side.
