Cassidy Goodson, 14-Year-Old, Murders Her Newborn Baby

This is as sad a story as I have read in as long as I can remember.

Goodson allegedly killed the child because she "didn't know what to do with it," officials told WTSP.

Goodson had reportedly been wearing baggy clothes to hide from her family that she was pregnant. Two aunts suspected the teen was pregnant, but the girl's mother, Teresa Goodson, "was in complete denial," Sheriff Grady Judd told the Ledger.

She was 14 with no support from her family. She needs and needed help.

sad she had sex so young, sad she went with someone whose age we don't know which is a whole other consideration (an adult male who groomed her or another stupid teen?), sad she fell pregnant and was not in a position to get family support or able to abort very early... terribly sad she had to hide her pregnancy and deal, as a very young teenager, with all the worries and health issues alone, and then go through labour and giving birth with no help, and so terribly sad a beautiful new baby was born into this situation with no-one to help it and save it.

Men hold no responsibility, they are simply reacting to biology, a natural reaction to be applauded and cherished.

Women (and apparently 13 year old yet adult girls) should know that if they just keep their ankles crossed, they are immune from pregnancy. They used to teach that in finishing school, but liberals pushing for public education have removed that basic concept of a classical education from the syllabus.

I was also taught to wear long skirts (mid calf), loose slacks, loose blouses and a cardigan. (some authorities on pregnancy prevention recommend gloves and a scarf, but my school did not demand those accessories.)
