Uvalde... she still suffered bullet fragment injuries to her back but survived. Is traumatised by events. She followed the same actions as a 6-year old Sandy Hook child. Perhaps we'll be seeing the anti gun-restrictionists calling upon all classroom teachers to tell their kids this is what they need to do in the event of an attack. "Don't read those books like Potter and Gay Stuff, but be prepared to stick your hands into the warm mess of lost life of your little buddies and smear yourself well. You might just get to 'win'! Don't wanna be a Looooooooser, now, do you?"

An 11-year-old Uvalde, Texas student reportedly covered herself in blood and played dead in an effort to avoid the gunman during Tuesday’s shooting.

Blanca Rivera, an aunt of Robb Elementary fourth grader Miah Cerrillo, told KRPC-TV the girl was just trying to avoid being shot. The child still suffered bullet fragment injuries to her back during the shooting.

“My sister-in-law said is that [Miah] saw her friend full of blood, and she got blood and put it on herself,” Rivera said.

Miah’s teacher, Irma Garcia, was one of two instructors who died in the attack, Rivera told KXAS-TV. Nineteen children also perished, making it the second-deadliest school shooting on record. The mass shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, Connecticut left 26 people dead in 2012.

Miah’s story is similar to the survival tale of a 6-year-old girl who played dead during the Sandy Hook attack. That child also covered herself “from head to toe with blood,” her pastor Jim Solomon told ABC News in 2012.

what a world, where kids have to pretend to be dead with dead friends all around them covered in blood.

“I think he was aiming at me,” Samuel said, adding that he thought the bullet hit a chair. When shrapnel struck his thigh and got lodged in his leg, he tried to look incapacitated.
“I played dead so he wouldn’t shoot me,” he said, adding that other classmates did the same.

At one point, a student’s cellphone started ringing, and there were gunshots as the girl tried to silence it. Police then engaged the gunman and rushed the surviving children out of the room, past the bodies of their dead teacher and classmates.

“There was blood on the ground,” Samuel said. “And there were kids [...] full of blood.”

yes. i never EVER had to worry about anything other than learning stuff at school, and making sure i was wearing my straw hat in the summer school months (because school rules).
