"I know how that is," Alexis laughed. "I capture alive, but they typically don't stay that way. I hunted animals long before I hunted people."

"She died a long time ago, cancer," he replied. "With work as it it it's hard to get out and find someone."

"Stubborn and in more trouble with the instructors than anyone else," he said. "That's why he tolerated pain so well."

"He liked playing pranks," he said. "One time he glued all of Georgia's floggers to the table overnight."

Alexis laughed louder, tears of mirth coming to her eyes. "Oh geez," she said. "That's good. I don't want to know how much punishment he got."

Alexis shook her head, very amused. "Somehow I just had the image that he was this studious young man who just didn't remember things, not someone who did outrageous pranks."

"Besides, he's teaching now. do you really want that kind of thing getting back to people who might want to one up you? He's a legend."

"I think the punishments will prevent people," Alexis said dryly. "I did a few pranks while training myself, but nothing like that. Well. . ." She chuckled. "Except once."

"I sneaked into the Director's office and superglued everything to his desk, then left jelly beans all over the place," Alexis said, smiling at the memory. "Left a note that said, 'Beware the Ides of March'."

"Yes, yes he did, considering that I am a Shakespeare nut," Alexis said, shaking her head. "Although it took him five hours to unglue his phone so he could scream at me. It was glorious. Except the punishment was bad, obviously no one else did it again."
