Hi,
A few years ago, I read a wonderfully written story on this site, but I haven't been able to recall the writer's name or the story's title. Any help appreciated.
Story may have been under fantasy or nonhuman genre.
Author may have been French sounding.
About woman (librarian?) who gets kidnapped by a man who controls dreams. He forces her to stay with him because he is drawn to her by unexplained forces. Later in the story, it turns out she becomes the next Aphrodite.
Does this spark any memories? Anyone know where I can find this story?
