When I try to login i get a message that says Retry or return to site, when i dot hat i get the same message. Can someone tell me how to fix this

You’ve probably been banned by the chat mods (if you’re talking about Lit Chat). There’s a forum at the bottom of the main forums page where you can ask them. They’ll PM you their reasoning.
