This is the best word I've found to describe my situation.

Candaulism:

1, Refers to joy regarding the sexual activity of one's partner.
Commentary: Not to be confused with compersion, a feeling of joy, the opposite of jealousy, when a loved one invests in and takes pleasure from another romantic or sexual relationship.

2. A sexual practice or fantasy in which people expose their partner, or images of them, to other people for their voyeuristic pleasure.

3. A practice involving one person observing, often from concealment, two others having sexual relations.

4. Sexual arousal through watching two people having sex, particularly one's partner with another.

Thanks for finding this term. All the while I thought of myself as just a fucking pervert.

So that basically describes my desire to watch another man fuck my wife. Cool.

From your personal perspective, how does it differ from voyeurism?

I wonder if there's a word that narrows it down even tighter. I would say that the first definition absolutely applies to me. Nothing makes me happier than my partner's arousal and enjoyment. But then it loses me on the other definitions. I'm very territorial. Though love the thought of catching him pleasuring himself when he didn't know I was around.

I've always very broadly called that voyeurism. :):rose:

Yes, but now you have a term to refer to. Bring "candaulism" up at the next party or group discussion. Should make for a lively debate.:D

I agree. The first definition describes my situation best, with leanings towards 2 and 4. Three is a miss.

Pervert is certainly easier to spell. Candaulism narrows down the scope of ones perversion.

In my case it simply compartmentalizes one. My spectrum of perversion is broad and as a result quite diverse.;);)

Too confusing for me.

If it's a turn on and you can do it,do it.
