You have $100 to buy chips. You can roll the dice on one, or spread your odds. For now, we’ll stick to the Dem primary since the GOP primary is not in question. After the conventions, the casino will open up to the finalists. Here’s my bet (2/15/20)

Bernie $50
Bloomberg $25
Klobucher $10
Buttegieg $5
Brokered Convention $10

Sanders $1

Nobody else is worth a buck. I'll keep the rest for smarter investments.

Since I don't gamble, I forgot the odds and payoffs. I estimate a $5 payoff on a $1 Bernie bet.

All $100 and a bank loan for more on “Doesn’t matter because Trump smokes all of them.” Sad, unfortunate, dead certain.

Slight update to my wager. I think a Democrats are desperate enough to draft Romney.

Bernie $50
Bloomberg $25
Klobucher $7
Buttegieg $3
Romney 3
Brokered Convention $12

People predict a brokered convention every election. It hasn't happened since 1952. It hasn't even come close to happening since 1976.

And why would we be "desperate enough to draft Romney" when the polls show Sanders beating Trump?

Were these the same polls that showed Biden winning the Iowa Caucus? Or the ones that showed Hillary destroying Trump? Or are these the same pills that show Trump with an approval rating in the 30s when a more realistic one is in the high 50s at least?

Post Nevada debate update:

Bernie $55
Bloomberg $15
Klobuchar $10
Buttigieg $10
Warren $10

Next update will be posted after the Nevada caucus

Now that the Nevada caucus results are in, the odds have changed. Time to update:

Bernie $70
Bloomberg $15
Biden $5
Warren $3
Buttegieg $3
Klobucher $2
None of the above $2
