I know this may be a dumb question, but if you have a serious answer, please help me out.

Does anyone know if you can use a BOB (battery operated boyfriend) in the bath tub?

Please respond and I promise to respond.

If you're talking about a vibrator, not some kind of blow up doll, check the package. Some say they are made to be used in water or are waterproof *grins & blushes*

Otherwise, I would not use it in the water...can you just imagine explaining to the emergency room doctor..."well, I was just getting off, having this fan-ta-bu-lous orgasm when zippity zap zap... gosh, I didn't expect that spark..."

OMG that was sooooooooo funny

Omg Trinka, that was so funny. Love your sense of humor.

Problem, I have had this vibe for quite a while and no remaining package, so I have no clue about what it said.

And I totally agree, that would be quite embarrassing to explain in the ER.

Thanks for your input..........it was quite memorable.

No problem, I had a friend who was an emergency room nurse, and she had the best stories to tell *giggles*

Not that I know this from personal experience *wink wink* but the waterproof BOB's have gaskets and things on them that look like they would be water proof. Your ordinary BOB will just have a place where the batteries go that doesn't look like it would prevent any water from seeping in.

:p

That makes a lot of sense Trinka...... guess I'm SOL.....no gaskets here. Damn, was hoping anyway.....guess I;ll have to go get one!!!!!!!!!

Thanks again for your responses.

Just so you know, your average battery doesn't have enough power in it to give you a shock in a bathtub full of water. There's so much water there that the charge from the battery dissipates within it. You might fry your toy, but you shouldn't have anything to worry about yourself or the ER. (I'm assuming this thing doesn't require a huge power source, in which case, I edit my post to simply say, "Wow.")

Making BOB's WaterProof

What my wife and I have done in the past is to put a condom on the vibe and tie the end like a balloon. If you make it a little bit loose you can still turn the dial on the vibe.

I can vouch for that.

You can also get waterproof vibrators that have special seals. Those are better :)

Thanks

Thanks to everyone for their helpful suggestions. I think I will give the condom idea a whirl!!!!! Who knows, I may have to invest in a waterproof one......one can never have too many toys, right!!
