Or do you even notice that the person is interested in you at all??


Guys seem to not get the hint as easily as girls by what I have read here on the boards. Some have posted so.

though, to be honest, I don't really look for it, either. I just don't take anything like that seriously around here, unless its from Crysede.
If someone means more than just flirting, they should say something other than just flirting, right? It only makes sense.

I think online it's harder to tell if a guy is "really" interested in you. There's just so much cat and mouse and flirting, that sometimes it's hard to tell if someone is serious and wants to pursue it further.
In my every day life, I'm pretty good at reading signals such a facial expressions and eye contact. Though I have been known to be clueless several times before! My theory, you want me, just straight out tell me!

So, what I was going to say was that I think it is quite difficult to gauge if people are flirting just to flirt or if they are flirting with the intention of it going somewhere. There are some pretty charming and vivacious people in the world and I would expect it is especially difficult with those types to be able to tell.

I have been with my husband since I was 16, so my flirting skills were completely naive and probably still are. Back then I remember trying to flirt with him and it would just embarass the hell out of me. I just wanted to come out and say...I like you ..do you like me...but thankfully I thought a little better of it. I think I ended up asking my brother to get us to play truth or dare so that we could kiss in the closet.

I am a wonderful flirt, it's just a matter of finding someone as warped as I am to flirt with, which is difficult, which makes me a terrible flirt.

In RL I am pretty blind- but there are moments of clarity occasionally.

Generally I have no idea when someone has an interest to me. I don't think it's a case of misinterperted signals just the subtle differences everyone has with their signals.

I think everyone knows when their SO is flirting with them or giving them the "EYE". But when it comes to someone I just meet I can almost never tell.
