Anglophones in different lands continue to be separated by a common language. I appreciate your willingness to be inclusive, with the parenthetical (i), but the Greco-Roman inheritance of what to call the chemical elements (as they were known to 'the ancients') mainly involved the -um ending, rather than -ium.
The "inclusive" part isn't me using the -ium spelling, it's me acknowledging the US spelling.
