Can minor updates get caught in AI review?

And if they do, will the older version remain published?

My 11 stories were published before reviews for AI began, as far as I can tell. I see that even 4th or 5th chapters of a series can get kicked for AI. I'm reluctant to submit minor edits for fear that once my story gets put through the AI ringer it might be rejected. (I don't know why, exactly, I worry. I've never come close to using AI. But a lot of authors are puzzled.) If my new version did get rejected, would the older version stay published?

No one really knows. People have had their stories AI flagged and denied from using grammarly for example. It's completely random. If anything you might want to add typos or grammar errors in your story to get past the AI check.

I just had a story rejected being flagged as an AI story. I do use Quill to check for grammar and spelling, which is allowed per Literotica's policy (Their policy states, "If software helps correct spelling and grammar in text that a human author has written, that’s probably not an AI-generated story.")

The overall policy is rather vague and causes the story moderators to flag them if they think it is AI-generated. Writing is enough of a challenge, but I hate thinking that I have put in a couple of weeks' worth of work on a story only to have it rejected by someone who uses their opinion on how it was created. This process, as currently being handled, is not fair to the writers or the readers.

It makes me wonder if the effort is worth all of the trouble.
