Can I delete a story?

I rewrote a story and would like to remove the old one, and rename and resubmit the new one.

Is this doable?

It is probably easier to submit the revised and retitled story as a new one, and then delete the old one. But you can edit the original and keep any votes and comments.

To delete, resubmit the exact same title followed by DELETE and put PLEASE DELETE in the Notes Box.

To Edit, that is to change it, resubmit the exact same title followed by EDITED, paste the new version and add EDITED and whatever you want the new title to be in the Notes Box.

Both DELETE and EDITED will take as long as submitting a new story.
