I am an athiest.........I attended Catholic Schools with great grades, and I am not a hater........I am not sure I get your point of relevance with the whole athiest thing........?

Hmm was the tongue sticking out incident followed up with sexual suggestions? Hell, where was the tongue when he was sticking it out....up her skirt? More info...more more more.

Zero tolerance gets a bad rap. If everytime it was used and worked someone wrote an editorial, the few times when it is misused would look like peanuts. And, people who need soemthing to huff and puff about might feel better that their children and grandchildren were in school with administrators who would NOT allow kids to threaten one another, wear gang paraphanelia or do other htings that were hurtful and commonly accepted ten years ago.

Kid's stuff just isn't safe anymore.

BTW, my son got a behavior referral in Kindergarten for cocking his finger like a gun on teh bus. Overkill? Yes...but did her learn that guns weren't cool at school, yes!

as a teacher...

I can almost assure you that this suspension followed other sorts of harassment and intimidation. Zero tolerance rarely means that. And you'd be surprised, if you think sweetluvin's comment about wiggling his tongue was amusing...many middle school kids know exactly what it means. 12 year olds are generally 6th graders. Some students are already sexually active by that age.

There are days I'm glad I teach 3rd grade.

Busy...with regards to your ethnic slur....grow the fuck up. My 3rd graders have a much better grasp of why it's important to treat others without discrimination than you do.

The only unit that will NOT be sent to the war in Iraq is the 1st Bald-Headed Paunchy-Gut Comb-Over Brigade, headed by Colonel Bus Y. Body.

When asked by reporters why the 1st BHPGCO wouldn't be going to fight the evil muslims, Col. Body replied "Well frankly, we're scared to death. On top of that we have bowel problems and we're really out of shape."

The Colonel, dresssed in his standard chicken-hawk uniform of a lime green leisure suit from 1979 went on to say that he didn't think his 1983 Chrysler K-car would do to well in the deep desert sands of Iraq. "It doesn't always start and has pretty bad tires. I think it would be a bad idea to try and drive it around over there. Besides, how would I get it across the big oceans?"

Col. Body went on to comment about the training regimen for the brigade: "Mostly we just stay online and try to insult blacks and muslims. I asked the colonel what he would do if he ever encounter a black or muslim in real life.
