I'm trying to put together a new web page and I have a custom background, however I need to get the seamless look.

If you set the image below as a background on a web page you'll see where each tile begins and end.

There's a way to fix this but for the life of me I can't do it with Paint Shop Pro. Can someone help? Thanks!

Imige pull down (or edit pulldown)/ edit image size

set it to pixels and put them at 1024x however long you want it to be

most people use 1024 as there computer settings so they will get the full image legthwise. as for the length... id on't know how long your page is going to be.

then again it may not show horizontal seams

I'm sorry, I couldn't post the image as a 1024 width, it only allows 800x600 maximum size. The image is normally 1024x30 which fits nicely.

I'm talking about the seam along the bottom edge of the image you see when it's tiled.

Thanks!

oh sorry then.

i'd sugest then cutting the picture in half stack them bottom on the top and use a smuge tool or blend to get rid of that seam, and since the now top and now bottom use to be the middle they should fit better when stacked with no seam

(only a theory)

Give this a shot.. I don't see an seams on my front page editor when I use it..

btw.. this means you have to post a link to my e-wrestler site on your site no matter if you like wrestlign or not! :D

Let me know if this will work.

Thanks Lion! I actually found a technique that worked well for me. I recreated the image, but larger then I needed, then I cut out a long section in the middle, pasted it as a new image. No seams.

Your's worked too though, thanks!

Same thing I did.... Although all I did was take your original image, cut out a section in the middle and call it good.

Thanks to Fly and Lion!
