Nope the quiet is the best time.

Cool, any particular type of music?

Hey everybody! Boy this place picked up quick. :D

Mostly what I write is ballads. When I sang in the clubs, back in the 70s, I played and sang stuff by CSNY, Beatles, James Taylor, Carol King, Seals and Croft, Eagles, the acoustic folk light rock sound.

Vocally I have always done better with ballads... I would love to record me singing songs from the 30-50s...... the standards...

Spenser, I think that is wonderful. I sure wish I could sing, if I do I scare everyone away! LOL

Ah, I just sang "I'll Be Seeing You" over on the AH tonight. Too bad I can't really do that for them. My family are singers. And musicians in general.

My sister just gave me a two CD set of James Taylor for my birthday. I already had the Eagles Greatest Hits, volume 1 and 2. I'm a bit of a country girl, John Denver is a fave.

Bedtime so I'll do one that lulls my best friends little boy.

Summertime ~ Gershwin

*Summertime and the livin is easy
Catfish are jumpin
And the cotton is high

Your pappy's rich
And your mammy's good lookin'
Hush little baby
Don't you, don't you cry...*

Yea I have been blessed with a nice voice or so I keep hearing. I sang at this function not too long ago and some women came up to me and said omg, you have the most smoothest voice. I said thanks. They want on and on talking about how smooth and soft it was. Then she said, why looking at you, no one would have figured that is how you sound.

Now what the heck does that mean? LOL I said well thank you but inside I was like... what the heck did you think I would sound like????
