I've been there, believe me. But, if there's one thing I've learned in the last two years it's that love does not make everything okay. It doesn't fix things, it doesn't conquer all. It just is. We have to deal with it how and when it comes to us and sometimes it's not at the right time for the two people involved. And when it doesn't work out, it feels like a chunk torn out of your heart. In my case, it felt like a sob sitting in my chest that wouldn't break free. It eases with time.
