Hi all!

WOW....this thread did die down a bit didn't it? Here I am the girl that started it....not doing a damn thing to keep it going. LOL.....I was being distracted by life. I spent a very blissful week or so wrapped up in something that made me very happy....only to have that happiness come crashing down on me. I can keep my chin high and say that this time....what a man thinks of me, and if I have a man in my life will not affect h ow I look at myself. I have my hair done, my makeup is flawless....I look hot. I am going to go put on my l il black dress, put a huge smile on my face to hide my broken heart. Then I am going to find someone to go out with me.....flirt, smile and laugh and drink and have a good ole time tonight. Hope everyone else has a great night and nothing but good things happening in your lives! Kisses to all....lol, I am sure I will be back later. If I am, and I am drunk, loook out, could get interesting!!!!!

I'd have to say that being a BBW, you have to have confidence in yourself. *grins* You've got to love yourself, and tell anyone who doesn't to fuck off!!! It took me a long time to be able to look at myself and think..wow, I really do look good..but now, I just don't care. I love me, and I think everyone else should too!!!! *laughing*

The day I realized that too was the day that my youngest sister said to me after coloring and cutting my hair and doing my makeup for a big day, said to me......"ugh....you look so pretty you make me sick". Here is me 5'5" and 225#'s looking at a very pretty 5'1" 120# girl thinking"what"? Then I looked in the mirror and saw what she saw and realized she was right! I have o ver time come to like my smile and my eyes and other things about me. I have more confidence in me. It is still a process and I am still getting there. But, I am trying! Thanks VT for the post....hope to see you around here again! I think we need a lil new blood on this post!

Dove ads?

Has anyone else seen the controversy over the new dove ads? Does anyone else not get what the big deal is? The only thing I did not like is that everyone keeps saying "women of size". I hate that saying....it is almost as bad as BBW. I mean hello people.....all clothes from o to 32+ have a size listed. It is not one size fits all, unless you weigh over X amounts of pounds! (kilos for those of you outside the US....lol) Just wondered if anyone else had any thoughts on t his.
