I know, I know...music threads have been done to death, so if this bombs I won't feel bad. Just been thinking with the radio on again, and if you could dedicate one song to one person right now, to whom would it be, and what song would you choose?

Since I think I'm falling in love (despite a nasty habit :)), I would choose "The Promise" by When in Rome

I'm fine but I'm just thinking of the right words to say
(I promise)
I know they don't sound the way I planned them to be
(I promise)
But if you wait around a while
I'll make you fall for me
I promise you, I promise you
I will

I wish you the best - Per Gessle (Roxette)

For Simply Southern and to her acing of this weekends trauma.

It would have to be "With or Without You" by U2 for a friend who I saw with some guy Saturday. :(

Falling in love isn't a nasty habit, just a dangerous one.

I know I am cheating but...

"Always look on the bright side of life" - Monty Python

To us all on the BB

Meep Meep

I would call in "you're my everything" by Tal Bachman, and it's for my one true love, he knows who he is.

Mine would have to be an oldie "Good Night Sweetheart" as it is really late & I need to head off to sleep. I dedicate this song to all of the people on the board, whether you want it or not. Sweet dreams to all & thank you to a few people who have been really understanding today. OMG, did I just post my first ass kissing thread? I'll take my chances, good night.

Fat and weak, what a disgrace
Guess the champ got too lazy
Ain't gonna fly now, he's just takin' up space
Sold his gloves, threw his eggs down the drain

But he's no bum, he works down the street
He bought the neighborhood deli
Back on his feet, now he's choppin' up meat
Come inside, maybe you'll hear him say:
Try the rye or the kaiser
They're on special tonight
If you want, you can have an appetizer
You might like our salami, and the liver's all right
And they'd really go well with the rye
Or the kaiser

Never eats while on the job
He heard it's good to stay hungry
But he makes a pretty mean shish kabob
Have a taste, they were made fresh today

Try the rye or the kaiser or the wheat or the white
Maybe I can suggest an appetizer
Stay away from the tuna, it smells funny tonight
But you just can't go wrong with the rye
Or the kaiser

So today, his deli comes first
Still he dreams of his past days of glory
Goes in the back and beats up on the liverwurst
All the while you can still hear him say:

It's the rye or the kaiser, it's the thrill of one bite
Let me please be your catering advisor
If you want substitutions, I won't put up a fight
You can have your roast beef on the rye
Or the kaiser

The rye or the kaiser
The rye or the kaiser
The rye or the kaiser

No no no Beaker, it should be The Galaxy Song (remember that one?), not Always Look on the Bright Side of Life, though every Monty song is the best.
Actually I would say The Fa Song by Guster to all the trolls with big kisses.

And Bob will you PLEASE stop whinning! I know when my little boy whines, I tell him that I won't be able to hear him until he stops whinning, perhaps we should do the same to you...

Patryn,

Do you ever say anything that doesnt sound like shit, or do you always suffer from oraldiarehea? Just wondering.

I know this will certify me as a fossil, but oh well...

And who calls in dedications at 8:30 in the morning, anyway? Maybe an old drunk, crawling home from another bender, bothering the morning show guys as they come in.

"Washa friga wugasi meenie moe?"

Ahhh, the good old days.

Anyway. Mine is "Stardust", as sung by Nat King Cole.

For everybody. :)
