I was speaking to my "it" the other day about producing sophisticated BDSM toys that would include the kind of electronic gadgetry I see in children's toys.

I believe he was referring to my use of Spivak pronouns for my D/s partner. They aren't really that futuristic; Michael Spivak used them in his book The Joy of TeX in 1982, but he says he read about the idea in a newspaper well before he began using them in his books.

As to cages, I think Catalina has commented in passing that they have one, but I'm not 100% sure... what one gets out of it is probably dependant on why the cage is being used - animal play, punishment, restraint, display, etc. I would imagine each brings up a differnt emotion/response. For example, when I think of cages, my mind goes wooshing into metaphorical nightingale-land, but I have no clue if that's how I'd actually respond to being caged.

LOL, yes we have one....it gets vacuumed, dusted, polished regularly by moi, but little else unfortunately. I fit in it nicely, that we both know, and I await patiently for him to find time and inspiration colliding at the same time with me as the grateful recipient of trying it out for more than a moment.

LOL, well I did tell him if I was a character on his screen while he was playing WoW I would have more chance... he thought that was a great idea until I reminded him I have no such games skills and it would drive him insane having me there. Oh well, I will have to be satisfied with his efforts on a regular basis to bruise me...lol, think those days are gone where I bruise easy and for any length of time but is fun letting him go further and further, longer and longer, trying.

As for the cage thing, Dog crates would work best by-far I think. I've never done it or thought of it until reading this but it sounds exciting from everyone elses responses.

I beg everyone's pardon, no he hadn't put me up to this, I am just looking for all the information I can get, I would hope your lovers tried as hard as me and got help from others to move closer to subspace.

It is admirable you want to please, but also can lead to trouble if you take it upon yourself to decide what your Master would find pleasureable etc., especially if like many I have heard mention, they get upset and angry if told it actually wasn't something the Master wanted, and maybe get punished for even thinking it their right to take those decisions upon themselves to do and expect gratitude in return.

As to asking help in getting to subspace...firstly we don't go there as he prefers me to concentrate on his pleasure as opposed to my own through floating away on a lovely soft cloud where I am all that exists and my pleasure the focus of all that happens....secondly, if I want to know anything, or we wish me to reach any goal, he prefers I go to him, not strangers. He would find it highly offensive if I suggested I would want others to help take me places he wasn't...I go where he wants me, how he wants it, and when without looking to someone else to help control and dominate his property.

I'm sorry you are so disappointed to find we are just fairly average people living fairly average lives, but unfortunately you will find most here do not put themselves on pedestals, nor do they live unrealistic fantasies anywhere but in their heads. Life is a necessity, bills have to be paid, toilets cleaned, houses dusted, floors mopped, meals cooked, washing done, jobs to get to, families and friends to interact with, pets to care for, illness to deal with, all alongside our individual tastes in indulging our less mainstream side. So yes, I might be whipped to the point of bleeding, or chained to the bed for the night, or countless other things, but that doesn't make me special or above regular or average, just another human being living life the way it fits us best, just as most others do. IOW, while we are serious about what it is we do and love, we are not quite so serious about thinking it makes us special, better, or above everyone else, especially when we are asking about things we have not experienced or don't know a lot about.
