Cable Modem/Mac Address Thieves

I've not been wanting to speak too soon, but I'm quite shocked at how stable my connection has been since yesterday morning. Perhaps that ranting session I had on the phone to NTL actually worked, and they did something about it. I suggested several things, perhaps they acted on one or two.

I'll still be wanting my new modem on Monday, no matter what, because I don't trust this one.
